ARGC

UK's First Licensed Egg Freezing Clinic

At ARGC, we offer egg freezing as a means to preserve your fertility for the future.  ARGC was the first clinic in the UK to be granted a licence to freeze and later thaw human eggs, first providing this service in 1998. We were also the first UK clinic where a baby was conceived from the use of frozen eggs. With age being the biggest factor affecting egg quality, egg freezing provides you with the option of freezing your eggs now in order to use them for treatment in the future.

This proven approach has helped patients with various fertility factors, from unexplained infertility to previous unsuccessful treatments.

Our Process

What We Offer

We begin by understanding your unique situation. During your consultation, we'll discuss your fertility history, review what has and hasn't worked, and explore your treatment possibilities.

Why It Matters

It’s about making sure we know exactly what you need from the beginning. Our goal is to be transparent and offer a personalised treatment plan based on your history and goals.

It's All About You

We do more than just provide fertility treatment

Your entire journey based on you

We do more than just provide fertility treatment - we craft a personalised experience that is uniquely tailored to your individual needs, preferences and circumstances.

We monitor every change in you

By continuously assessing your response to treatment, we can make precise, real-time adjustments that optimise your chances of success.

Expert care, dedicated to supporting you

With ARGC, you're not just another number. We pride ourselves on offering dedicated, doctor-led care and expert decisions, ensuring you feel supported at every step.

Your body doesn’t stop, neither do we

We know your body doesn't stop, so neither do we. We are open every day, including bank holidays and weekends, to ensure you receive the care and attention you need without delay.

Treatments Price Estimate

At ARGC, we understand that each patient’s journey is unique. While we strive to provide you with an estimate, it's challenging due to the individualised nature of our treatments. Instead of paying upfront for a fixed package, we'll bill you on a 'pay as you go' basis or through a deposit.

The cost of a treatment cycle can vary based on how your body responds and our prices reflect this highly personalised approach.

Our fees cover scan costs during treatment, anaesthetics and theatre charges, professional fees for doctor and embryologists, but exclude costs for additional procedures like freezing, storage or embryology services if required.

Should specialised treatments, such as immunology testing or advanced embryology techniques, be recommended, you can find detailed cost information here.

More Questions?

You can find answers to common questions below. Remember, our team is always here to help if you have any further questions.

During egg collection, which takes about 15-20 minutes, you'll be under mild sedation. The doctor retrieves eggs from your ovaries using a fine needle guided through the vagina and you will receive painkillers and antibiotics. Afterwards, you'll wake up in a recovery room, rest for about an hour, pass urine and go home. You'll need someone to take you home, but you can usually resume normal activities the next day.
